Meet Sharron

"Fulfillment is always achievable, you just have to be willing to create the blueprint and then lay the foundation one choice at a time."

A Little Bit About Sharron

I’m a liberator.  I know that’s a bold statement, but it’s who I am and what I have been put on this earth to do – guide people out of                (You fill in the blank) and into a place of freedom. It breaks my heart when I encounter people who are stuck in their past, stuck in their noisy heads filled with negative self-talk, or stuck in relationships (of any type) that aren’t nourishing. I don’t believe that we are here to live in bondage... not to our thoughts, feelings, history or current circumstances. Furthermore, I don’t believe that your path to freedom is outside of you. I believe, it’s ingrained into your DNA – it just needs the light shone upon it. I’ve been there, facing situations that I did not think I would live through. I’ve been stuck in the nasty internal dialogue in my head, desperate for a caring voice. I’ve felt captive to a life that I did not want. I learned to fight from within, which compelled me to help others do the same. I recognize that my journey is not the same as yours – but it would be an honor to support you in finding your own path and breaking free of all the imposed and self-imposed limitations and hardships that are preventing you from living a fulfilling life. I don’t want to sell you a “hype dream”. I can’t make you feel happy; but if you are sick of feeling trapped and you are willing to do the work, I am ready and able to support you. All you have to do is show up, and let the journey begin.

Now for the technical stuff….

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Ph.D., two master degrees (yes, I'm a little school-obsessed), and almost 20 years of experience helping people. I have worked with a number of populations including men incarcerated in a maximum-level correctional institution, families involved with the Department of Children and Families, and many amazing trauma survivors. The theme of my work across all of those populations has been helping those individuals in defining the lives they want and supporting them in doing the necessary work to get it. The past few years of my life have been dedicated to increasing my own insight around religious trauma and ways to most effectively support those who have been part of toxic or detrimental religious environments, or had adverse religious experiences that are causing often immense emotional, psychological, and spiritual suffering.
